What are the advantages of Norton compared to Bitdefender?Time: Jul. 18, 2019
We are big fans of Bitdefender. In the selection of the best antivirus software on the market, it ranked first. This article compares it to Norton Antivirus, one of the oldest examples of antivirus software.
We hope both will work fine, but we'll see how Norton Antivirus behaves in relation to Bitdefender.
Before reading this comparison between Bitdefender and Norton Antivirus, first read the information from Bitdefender Antivirus and Norton Antivirus at bzfuture.com for a complete description of each software.
There are four main packages of Norton. As for Bitdefender, there are some basic features, but in general, there are fewer features in the list.
Each package includes full protection against malware, including protection against ransomware and spyware, as well as cloud storage for backup. It also has a network firewall and a password manager.
The password manager does not support a complete offer like Dashlane, but does the job for an occasional user.
Subscribers of the Norton 360 package have access to Norton Secure VPN for secure browsing. It lacks the VPN features of our best list of VPN options for Windows, but it's a good idea. You also get webcam protection.
The distribution of functions in Norton packages depends on the most expensive packages you can expect, but the Antivirus Plus and 360 Standard subscriptions have enough to be useful.
There are many similarities between Norton Antivirus and Bitdefender. Norton Antivirus offers a variety of add-ons for its packages. However, many of them, such as VPN and LifeLock identity protection, require additional programs and complexity.
In terms of security features, Norton Antivirus is more basic. Most functions, such as password manager and webcam protection, are compatible with Bitdefender, which also provides additional basic functionality.
